Common questions
How do I get the prayer room access code?
Email us at ouisoc.mail@gmail.com with "Prayer room access" as the subject. We'll send you the code within 24 hours during term time.
I'm not Muslim — can I attend OUISoc events?
Absolutely. Many of our social and cultural events are open to everyone. Events specifically for Muslims (such as Friday prayers) are noted in our events listings.
I'm a new Muslim. Where do I start?
Reach out to our welfare team — they are experienced in supporting new Muslims at Oxford. We also run a regular New Muslims circle during term time.
How do I join OUISoc?
OUISoc is open to all Oxford students. There is no formal membership process — just show up to events, join our mailing list, and connect with us on social media.
